Established in Sept 1986 in Meltham, Proprietor Simon Mellor has developed the Lawn Turf Centre from its humble beginnings to a large operation based at Hade Edge between Penistone and Holmfirth and have a number of fields in Lincolnshire totalling 180 acres where the turf is grown.
The Lawn Turf Centre, as well as to the Huddersfield District, has been both supplying and laying turf for over 20 years to areas further a field including Manchester, Cheshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire,
Delivery and Service Areas
The Lawn Turf Centre both delivers lawn turf and provides turf laying services to the following areas:
- West Yorkshire inc. Huddersfield, Wakefield Leeds and Bradford
- Manchester, Rochdale and Oldham
- South Yorkshire inc. Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley
- Cheshire and Surrounding areas inc. Cheadle, Stockport, Glossop and Wimslow
