Established in Sept 1986 in Meltham, Proprietor Simon Mellor has developed the Lawn Turf centre from its humble beginnings to a large operation based at Hade Edge between Penistone and Holmfirth and has a number of fields in Lincolnshire totaling 180 acres where the turf is grown.

The Lawn Turf Centre, as well as to the Huddersfield District, has been both supplying and laying turf for over 20 years to areas further a field including Manchester, Cheshire, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire, Teeside and Lancashire.
